Other Information

On August 8, 2008, Pastor Glen Jackson went to be with the Lord.  He left this world while his family sang praises to his God.  He served the church faithfully for 28 years.  Faith Christian Church is proud to recognize him as Pastor Emeritus.  Lance Skifter (Pastor Glen’s son-in-law) was named Interim Pastor.  Pastor Lance was the youth minister at FCC from August, 2007 to August, 2008 and has been married to his wife, Erin, since February 3, 2007.

Faith Christian Church is a non-denominational independent Bible church.  We have a congregation of about 100 with mixed demographics and a blended worship style.

Mission Statement

Faith Christian Church seeks to bring people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ by studying His word, enjoying His people, practicing His presence, and caring for others

Doctrinal Statement

We believe that God is a triune Being, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  The Godhead is co-equal and co-eternal with each other.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ.  He has and is eternally God, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died for our sins, physically rose from the dead, ascended into Heaven and will return again to the Earth.

We believe that the Bible is the infallible and inspired word of God.  Though many authors were used to pen the words; each was moved by the Holy Spirit.  The Bible is to be the authority to guide our corporate and individual thoughts, actions and discipline.

We believe that humanity is in a lost condition apart from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  This relationship comes from individually receiving Christ as Lord and Savior through faith.

We believe in the personal and active ministry of the Holy Spirit in the lives of every believer and in the ministry of the church.

We believe that baptism is by immersion and is to be administered to those who have received Christ as Lord.  Baptism is the initial step of obedience and is the first step after conversion.

We believe that every believer is a minister.  As God has given each Christian spiritual gifts, they are to be used to minister to the rest of the body of Christ.

We believe in the spiritual unity of the body of Christ.  We are not the only Christians, but wish to be Christians only.  It is our desire to share fellowship with those who are members of the body of Christ.

We believe that the authority within the local congregation rests with the Eldership and that pastors are part of that Eldership.  Because an elder is a functioning ministry and not a title, elders are recognized by a consensus of the entire congregation as having God’s blessings upon their life and serve as long as they perform the Biblical functions of the office.
